Teen Patti, a popular card game in India, is a card game for 3 to 6 players that uses a 52-card deck without jokers. Teen Patti begins by placing a token, just like other Poker and rummy games. Before the cards are dealt, there must be a predetermined amount that participants are willing to place a certain token.
After each player has placed their token and the total sum has been tallied, each player is dealt three cards face down. The boot sum is the amount of token kept in the pot as a starting point. The pot is positioned on the table.
After the player and the sellers are dealt three cards, the next step is to call or raise. If you’ve ever played Poker, a popular card game in India, before, you should be familiar with these two terms. Making a call indicates that the player will stay in the game but will not increase his token; meanwhile, making a raise indicates that the player will add token to the pot, so play to succeed or lose more than the initial gaming token.
In any event, it’s important to remember that playing on Teen Patti, a popular card game in India, isn’t the same as playing Poker. In Teen Patti, all tokens must be in equal amounts, which means that if a player places two coins and another player places 4, the previous player must add four coins to the earlier 2.

To win at Teen Patti game online, a popular card game in India, you must have a better hand than the other players. From high to low, the ranking of hands in Teen Patti India, commonly known as sequences, is as follows:
Trail or Set (three of the same rank)
In Teen Patti India, a trail, set, or trio is made of three cards of the same kind, regardless of color or suit. Three Aces, for example, form a trail – the highest in this hand – with one of each of the clubs, diamonds, and hearts.
Three Aces of clubs, diamonds, and hearts (A-A-A) on their own also belong to the same hand rank. Queens, Jacks, 10s, and the rest come in second and third, respectively. 2-2-2 are ranked the lowest.
Pure Sequence or the Straight Flush
This hand formation in Teen Patti Game is known as the ‘pakki round’ by Indian players. It consists of three consecutive cards of the same suit. The highest graded hand in a pure sequence in the traditional game is an A-2-3 of hearts, diamonds, spades, or clubs.
However, in other cases, the highest rank is given to A-K-Q. 4-3-2 receives the lowest rank at the end of the sequence. Please notice that neither 2-A-K nor K-A-2 are valid pure sequences.
Sequence (straight or run)
In the 3 Patti rules, a run or straight sequence mimics a pure sequence. Three cards in a row make up the hand, although they are from different suits. In the traditional game, the highest-ranking hand is also A-2-3.
The variation, on the other hand, makes it A-K-Q. The lowest-ranking hand in the series is 4-3-2. 2-A-K and K-A-2 are obviously not viable straight sequences.
Color
In the 3 Patti rules, a color or flush is a hand of three cards from the same suit that is not in order. A-K-J of spades, clubs, diamonds, or hearts is the highest-ranking hand in this sequence, followed by A-K-10, A-K-9, and so on. 5-3-2 is the lowest-ranking color or flush sequence.
Pair (two cards of the same rank)
In the 3 Patti game, a pair or double is made by two cards of the same rank, regardless of color or suit. Teen Patti’s highest-ranking pair is two Aces of any color or suit. When two players are given an identical pair of cards, the value of the odd card determines who has the better hand.
The highest-ranking sequence is A-A-K, whereas the lowest-ranking sequence is 2-2-3.
High Card
Teen Patti’s high card resembles a flush in appearance. Three cards from various suits create the hand, which is not in any particular order. The best hand is A-K-J, while the worst is 5-3-2. The next high card determines the higher-ranking hand if two players share a common high card.

Rounds of Gaming
You can choose to play Chaal, a popular card game in India (see the cards) or blind before placing your initial token (not seeing the cards).
- When playing blind, you must place at least the current amount (the ante) but not more than double that amount. For example, if the ante is 15, the minimum token you must place is 15. You can place a maximum of 30 tokens.
- To keep playing chaal, a popular card game in India, you must bet twice as much as the blind players. You cannot, however, place more than four times the sum.

You can either call or raise every time you place a token from now on:
- Call: A call is the same amount as the biggest token in each round multiplied by the number of rounds.
- Raise: A raise is when a token exceeds all other players’ amount token. You can only place 4x the highest token when playing chaal. You can only play 2x the highest token when playing blind.
The gaming will continue until one of the following events occurs:
- The other players have all folded. If you are the only player who did not fold, you will be the winner of the entire pot.
- Except for two players, everyone else folds. One of the remaining two players can request a show in this case. Both players will have to show and compare their cards if this happens. The player who has the best hand is the winner.
The Show
When all but two players have folded, one of the players might request a showdown. If this is the case, both players must reveal their cards. The following are the show’s rules:
- Only when only two players are left can a show occur.
- If there are only two players left, any of them can request a show. Both of them must place 1x the present amount.
- Before paying for the show, no player (even the players themselves) is allowed to peek at their cards.
- If there are two players left, any of them can request a show. They will each pay 2x the existing token.
- A Blind player can ask a player for a show.
- The blind token must be 1x the value of the current token.
- The Blind players must bet twice as much as the players.
- When one of the players is blind, they cannot request a show. The only options for the player are to play or drop out.
- In the show, both players’ cards are revealed. The pot is won by the player who has the highest-ranking hand.
- The player who paid for the show loses if both players have equal hands.
- The person that wins becomes the dealer in the next game.
Compromise
If you’re playing Chaal, you can also ask for a compromise, often known as a sideshow. The following are the guidelines for reaching an agreement:
- All players must first place a minimum amount (Ante).
- You can ask the player who places before you (the person on your left side) for a compromise when it’s your turn to place your next token. However, you can only do so if the player before you is playing Chaal.
- It would be best if you placed the preceding player’s current amount.
- The other player has the option of accepting or rejecting the compromise.
- You must both compare your cards if the other player accepts the compromise. The player holding the lowest-ranking hand is forced to fold. If the cards are tied, the person who requested a compromise must fold.
- If the other player rejects the compromise, the next player passes the turn.
